Cut it out yourself
Hold a mining beam on a rock until it breaks. Big rocks take longer and pay proportionally — there is no skimming the small ones for a better rate, so the only real question is which belt you are willing to fly to.
A top-down space MMO in the lineage of DarkOrbit and Warpfire — cut rock out of an asteroid field, run it back through a refinery that costs you real time, and spend the bars on the guns that keep the next hold safe.
Built in Godot 4. Runs in a browser, on the desktop, and on a phone.

Ammunition, modules and repairs are bought with bars, not credits, and no amount of credits substitutes. The furnace queue runs while you fly. That is what turns mining time into something other than a number going up.
Every alloy needs two ore lines that no single cluster is rich in. You cannot park on the densest rock in the map and win — the recipe prices a route, which is what keeps eight of the nine clusters on the map alive.
Six ores in ascending richness, three gems that never refine, six elemental bars and three alloys. The commons never expire: the tutorial belt is six parts of the cheapest armour in the game.
Perhaps a dozen Nyxar come out of the belt in a year. Do not spend them on ammunition.
Single-player prototype, being built fun-first — mining, cargo, the economy table and the combat loop are in. Multiplayer is a deliberate retrofit over a simulation that is kept pure so it can be moved to a server later. There is nothing to play here yet.
